News of Dr Mohammad Jawad's remarkable burns reconstruction
surgery on acid attack patient Katie Piper has made a significant
impact throughout the world's press. Following features
on BBC World Service, Channel 4 and ITN, the story has most
recently been covered by Australian broadcaster Channel
9 as part of their '60 Minutes' series.
'60 Minutes' is a flagship news and documentary show with
millions of Australian viewers tuning in every week to watch
cutting-edge, factual programming. The show has been running
since 1979 and is still a winner with national TV ratings.
