09/12/2009: Jawad to perform
Burns Reconstrucion work throughout numerous world territories
Mr Mohammad Jawad is fast becoming one of the most recognisable
names in the field of plastic surgery. Mr Jawad, who shares
his working time between the NHS and his fast growing private
clinic Nip N Tuck Surgery, has a wealth of experience in
reconstructive surgery for burns. Recently he has shot to
prominence for his groundbreaking work on acid attack victim
Katie Piper. When Katie, a former model and TV presenter,
was brought to Mr Jawad, the caustic acid had made its way
through all the layers of her skin, leaving her with fourth
degree burns, and blind in one eye. After thirty-two lengthy
and complex operations, Mr Jawad constructed a new face
for Katie, utilising synthetic skin and grafts from Katie's
back. Rehabilitation is ongoing, but Katie feels beautiful
again, and calls Mr Jawad a hero.
The press, and subsequently the world, has taken a great
interest in Mr Jawad's treatment for burns victims. Three
million viewers tuned into to a Channel 4 documentary about
Katie's procedures, and Australian news show 60 Minutes
also covered the dramatic story. There is even talk of Mr
Jawad sitting on Oprah Winfrey's couch in the near future.
Mr Jawad is keen to build on his success with Katie, and
has recently unveiled an exciting new project. Plans are
in the pipeline for a dedicated burns treatment clinic called
the London Burns Centre: www.londonburnscentre.co.uk
Located in the heart of the medical world, the clinic will
specialise in burns reconstruction, drawing on Mr Jawad's
vast experience and pioneering surgical methods, providing
an outlet for those who are in most need of help.
Mr Jawad's reputation for excellence has carried him around
the globe, where he assists his clients in an individualised,
knowledgeable, and caring manner. Recently his work has
taken him to Pakistan, Scotland, France and other areas
of Europe, and there is a possibility that he may be involved
in burns reconstruction and cosmetic work in Dubai.
Residents of the UK who need reconstructive surgery for
burns can contact Mr Jawad's private clinic, Nip N Tuck
Surgery, which is located at the renowned London Welbeck
Hospital, near Harley Street. There, personalised and informative
consultations are given, and the highest standard of care
is delivered, in a friendly and safe environment. No matter
where Mr Jawad offers his expert treatment for burns victims,
the emphasis is always upon helping people, and changing
lives for the better.
